Precautions for granulator

The production process of a granulator is to dry and add adhesive to finely ground powder to produce particles with good flowability and a particle size of approximately 0.1mm. Generally, the adhesive used should meet the following requirements: it should have sufficient viscosity to ensure good formability and mechanical strength of the body; After high-temperature calcination, it can completely evaporate, leaving no or little residual impurities of adhesive in the green body; The production process is simple, non corrosive, and has no adverse effects on ceramic properties. The commonly used adhesives for drying and forming granulators are as follows: ① polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution, the production process using this adhesive is simple, the ceramic porosity is small, and the addition amount is 3% to 5%. ② The melting point of paraffin is about 50 ℃, and it is thermoplastic. As the temperature increases, the viscosity decreases. When the temperature is higher than its melting point, it can flow and wet the surface of ceramic particles, forming an adsorption layer that plays a bonding role. Dry pressing is beneficial for its cold fluidity. The amount of paraffin is usually around 8% The production process of phenolic varnish using this adhesive is simple, and the mechanical strength of the body is high, with an addition amount of about 8% to 15%. ④ Sulfite pulp waste liquid, the formula of this adhesive is: 90% water, 10% sulfite pulp waste liquid, and its addition amount is 8% to 10% of porcelain powder, but the green strength is relatively low.

Precautions during the operation of the granulator
1. Always pay attention to changes in the temperature of the body, and when touching the strip with a clean hand without touching it, immediately raise the temperature. Until the strip touches the hand, it's normal.
2. When the bearing part of the gearbox burns or is accompanied by noise, it should be promptly repaired and refueled.
3. When the bearing parts at both ends of the main engine bearing room are burned or noisy, it is necessary to stop the machine for maintenance and add butter. During normal operation, add grease to the bearing housing every 5-6 days.
4. Pay attention to understanding the operating rules of the machine; For example, if the machine temperature is high or low, and the speed is fast or slow, it can be handled in a timely manner according to the situation.
5. When the machine body is unstable in operation, attention should be paid to checking whether the gap between the couplings is too tight and adjusting them in a timely manner.
Selection of granulator
1. Using a mother machine, double screw feeding.
2. The gearbox is better, as the gears inside must undergo heat treatment and the bearings can be adjusted.
3. The gearbox, screw, barrel, machine head, and worn parts should be treated with strength and have a lifespan of at least 1 year.
4. The main components should be made of standard materials.
5. Choose a professional manufacturer to produce a set of reducers and motors, rather than buying a granulator manufacturer to assemble them themselves.
6. There should be a power distribution cabinet.
7. The most crucial aspect of the equipment is the quality of the screw and barrel.
8. The washing machine must be continuously produced without the need to stop and change water. Instead, use a cleaning pool, otherwise the efficiency will be extremely low.
9. Heating should be segmented, and segmented heating should be uniform and controllable.
10. It is necessary to have a matching waste plastic cleaning machine that uses circulating water and does not discharge sewage.
11. Efficient power saving.
12. The length to diameter ratio of the machine cannot exceed 20 (preferably between 16:1-20:1, which means that the length of the screw is 16-20 times the diameter of the screw).
13. The model should not be less than 100, and the larger the size, the higher the output.
14. There should be dual exhaust.
15. The heating power of the granulator flange (die head) is very important and should be designed at 2.5W per square centimeter (cross-sectional area).
